Positive Thinking for Optimal Health and Wellness

Affirmations are positive statements that can help your subconscious mind replace the negative self-perceptions you may have. These positive statements can undo the damage caused by negative things you have repeatedly told yourself (or which have been repeatedly told to you).

You have the power to change your self-perception through simple positive affirmations.

Affirmations are easy to make & use but do require dedication to be successful. Read them, say them, and hear them (by reading them out loud). It is really that simple, do this several times per day until they become automatic thoughts.

You may tailor this list to fit your needs. It is easy to make your own positive health & wellness affirmations as well.

Here are two ways to create your own personalized positive statements:

Make a list of health and fitness goals you would like to obtain. Turn these goals into positive statements. Example: My goal is to eat 5 veggie servings per day, turns into “I eat at least 5 servings of veggies every day because they are what my body needs”.

Make a list of negative thoughts about health and fitness you may have. Turn these negative thoughts into positive. Example:  “Exercise is painful & I do not like to do it”, can turns into “Exercise makes me feel great, I love the extra energy it gives me”
