Have you ever had a UTI (urinary tract infection)? If so, you know how terrible they are. Thankfully, there are some natural remedies for UTI.
Although bladder infections are much more common in women than in men, they are not caused by age. They affect young and older, male and female, humans of all shapes and sizes. They hold no partiality.
Natural Remedies For UTI - Featuring Juniper Berry
The first thing you want to do is start drinking PURE cranberry juice. It is vital that it be pure. No sweeteners, artificial dyes, nothing that makes it taste good. Just the pure, raw organic cranberry juice. You can dilute it in a bit of water or add your own sweetener to it if you'd like, but the sweetener they use is not good for your body that is dealing with an infection.
If you must use a sweetener, I suggest Alcohol Free Pure Liquid Stevia. A couple drops will go a long way and sweeten up your cranberry juice.
The other thing that you want to do is make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Your bladder needs to have a lot of fresh water going through it to flush it out.
Next, a fantastic essential oil perfect for bladder infections is Juniper Berry. It is relatively inexpensive and using it for just a few days, you will see amazing results. Simply rub 1-2 drops two or three times a day on your bladder. It doesn't have to be exact, just try to get it near the spot where your bladder is on lower stomach/pelvic area.
Juniper Berry is known for supporting healthy kidney and urinary function and it acts as a natural cleansing and detoxifying agent. It also helps relieve tension and stress, so you are getting double the results there.
It is safe to use without diluting, but if you want to dilute, add a couple drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO) as a top layer to the oil you rub on your stomach. You can also rub the oil on the bottom of your feet to get the oils into your bloodstream fast. As always if you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care, consult with your physician. Never put oils in your eyes or ears or other sensitive areas.
It is safe to take Juniper Berry essential oil internally as well, as long as you are using high quality essential oils and the bottle is labeled for internal use. Just put 2-4 drops in an empty vegetarian capsule and take 2-3 times a day.
