Here at Loving Essential Oils we strive to bring you new and wonderful DIY essential oil recipes. Many of our fans told us that they LOVE to share their homemade gifts with others, so why not include a cute gift tag.

We want to make adding gift tags as easy as possible so we created a step by step tutorial that you can follow to enhance your homemade gifts. Friends and family will get really big smiles when they are presented with a beautifully crafted homemade gift.

How To Apply Printable Gift Tags to Gifts:

Step 1: Pick the gift tag you want to use for the item you are gifting and print out on card stock paper, it is the best paper to make the tag ridged. You can print on regular paper if needed and then attach to a cardboard piece if you prefer.

Step 2: Cut the gift tag out and then punch a hole at the top where the white circle is by lining up the circle with a hole punch. Once lined up punch out circle. Write names on tag if applicable.

Step 3: Use ribbon, twine, yarn or string through the hole and attach to gift package. See our pictures below on how we like to do it.

Cut and loop string, then insert loop into hole.

Put the string through loop.

Pull string through until the loop is snug against gift tag. Once your tag is ready, tie it onto your gift!
