5 Essential Oil Blends for Mom - Time to SpOil Her!

Moms deserve to be pampered every day of the year. Here are 5 Essential Oil Blends for Moms. Make thoughtful gifts that your mom, or you, will love!

These are super quick recipes to make with minimal ingredients because if you are like me, time may be limited. While I love to make homemade creams and balms, these recipes use purchased unscented lotion.

Having unscented lotion available is perfect to make a customized essential oil blend for just about anyone!

Unscented Lotion for Essential Oils

For these recipes I am using Olive Lotion by Plant Therapy. It is enriched with the amazing benefits of Apricot, Olive, Grapeseed and Coconut oil.  I absolutely love this lotion base!

It brings nourishment and healing to skin. It has a silky texture and is good for all skin types.

Ingredients: Distilled water, Aloe, Apricot Kernel Oil, Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Emulsifying Wax NF, Vegetable Glycerin USP, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate (natural preservative), Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol.

For these blends, place essential drops from the recipe of choice in a 2 oz glass jar, then add in unscented lotion, stir well to blend together. Place a label on jar and all done! These recipes are at 2% dilution.

If you would prefer, these could be made into body oils. You would just need to have a carrier oil for the base (like jojoba oil) and 2 oz lotion pump bottles instead of jars.
